About us
Marianum Medical Centre offers patients a full spectrum of primary health care services.
The first stage of the centre's establishment saw the opening of a general practice with a focus on internal medicine. All general practitioners engaged by Marianum hold specialist qualifications in internal medicine.
Psychiatric services were introduced in April 2009. Both Dr Michel Oppl and Regine Horbach are specialist psychiatrists focusing on psychotherapy.
Over the coming months we plan to introduce a gynaecological practice. The treating physicians, Dr Martin Stähle (specialist gynaecologist and attending doctor at Diakonissenkrankenhaus) and Dr Beate Wertenauer, are currently working in the medical centre »Marinaum – Am Löwenmarkt« in Weilimdorf.
The advantage of Marianum Medical Centre's approach lies in the holistic treatment of each individual, with focus on the attainment of physical, as well as spiritual and mental wellbeing. With this in mind, we have created specially designated rooms in which we host regular seminars and in which our patients and staff can find space for quiet contemplation and reflection.
